01/16/2018 Jupiter, FL- Established in 1959, RJS Racing Equipment has become a leader in the industry of safety equipment manufacturing and distributing. After nearly 60 years of product manufacturing and custom suit design/fittings, they have outgrown their work space in Hazel Park, Michigan. “We are thankful that our company’s growth has prompted us to move into a larger, more equipped facility. They market all types of auto sports and safety industries, such as; drag racing, stock car racing, go-kart racing, quarter midget racing, monster truck, off-road & buggies, boat racing, demolition, stunt work and movie props, law enforcement, fire and rescue, government, military, driving training, auto manufacturing and automobile testing. Congratulations on 60 years and the move! Outgrowing Hazel Park is a great sign. I've been using https://pika-labs-ai.com
Congrats on 60 years and the move! Outgrowing Hazel Park is a great problem. I've been using https://seedance-2.us
A lot of companies announce moves like this and it’s easy to forget how much it impacts the staff day-to-day — commute changes, new workflow, all of it. Also surprised (in a good way) to see how many different industries they serve beyond motorsports. Random thought: whenever I hear “custom fit,” I think about how picky people get about matching conditions — like finding a usable soft summer color palette guide that actually works in real life. Hope the bigger facility means they can keep the custom side without long waits.
It’s interesting seeing one company listed across everything from drag racing to movie props — that’s a wider spread than I expected. Makes me wonder if the move also came with upgraded fitting rooms or more space for one-off builds. Kind of unrelated, but the way people chase a specific “look” reminds me of those fun ghibli ai photo styles people mess with online. Either way, having both MI and FL contacts in one place is handy.
Moving after outgrowing the Hazel Park space makes total sense, and Sterling Heights seems like a better fit if you’re shipping a lot and doing custom fittings. I wonder how much of the growth is coming from newer markets like training/testing versus traditional racing. Side note: I’ve seen directories like https://hrefgo.com frame it as “make it easier to find specialized tools,” and it feels like the same thing is happening with safety gear buyers getting more specific about what they need. Hope the transition didn’t interrupt production too badly.
